How is my account information used? Your account information is used for our records only. We respect your privacy and do not sell or share your information. When I try to login nothing happens. Why? If you have a firewall running on your computer such as "Zone Alarm" or "Norton Internet Security" you may have difficulties logging in. The easiest method is to disable your firewall for the duration of your visit to our site, but be sure to reactivate it once you have placed your listing. Also, please deactivate any pop-up blockers and make sure JAVA is enabled. Simply register by clicking on 'list here' on the main page. Once you have an account setup, a password will allow only you to edit your listing in the future. If you have already setup an account with any of our networked sites in the past, click on 'Member Login' on the main page and enter your username and password. You will then be given the necessary tools to add a new listing. I am a property manager. How do I list my properties? Simply register online by clicking on ‘list here’ on the main page. Click on the ‘Property Managers and Property Management Companies’ link or you can also contact us by phone or email to setup a volume discount. Click here for contact information. How much is it to list my property? The price is $19.95 +applicable taxes per listing per month or $49.95 +applicable taxes per month for an Apartment building. There are significant discounts for bulk listings, as well as frequent Pricing Specials. Please contact us for more information. How long is my property listed for? Your property will be listed for 30 days (or the amount of time you have chosen if longer). Multi months run consecutively and you do not bank any leftover time if you de-list early. How do change my name on my listing? If you do not wish to have your full name displayed on your listing you can specify that an "alternate contact" be used. This can be your initials, an alias, or simply "landlord" or "manager". How do I add photos to my listing? Login with your user name and password and click on 'pictures' on the menu. Then simply browse your hard drive for the file you wish to upload. Our site will only display .gif or .jpg formats. Unlimited photos can be added to your listing for free to enhance your listings and give it higher placement in the search results. How do I check my listing stats? Login to your account and select 'listings' in the stats sub-menu. Select which timeframe you wish to view the stats for. How do I check the status of my listing? Login to your account and select 'view' on the left hand menu. If there is a listing there, you can see how the listing will appear live on the website. If the listing is live the status will be green and "active". If no listing appears, try adding a second listing. Help! I can't remember my username and password. If you signed up with a valid email address, then click here to retrieve your username and password. If you do not have an email address simply contact us to retrieve your information. I have never used this site before and it says i have a duplicate account. Why? If you have listed with any of our networked sites previously you are already in the database. Contact us to retrieve you username and password. How do I change my personal information? To change your personal information, click 'your details' on the top of the yellow "Management Tools" menu. You can modify your password and update your email address here. For all other modifications, please contact us and we will make the necessary modifications. If you are simply changing your contact information, you may do so by selecting 'alternate contact' while modifying your listing. How do I edit my listing once it's online? Login and click 'modify' to edit your listing. How do I change my listing type? To modify the category of your listing please contact us. Because your listing in online 24/7, a wider audience will see your listing vs traditional means of advertising. The quickest and easiest way to pay for your listing is through e-commerce on the website. This method is safe and instantaneous. If you do not have a credit card you may also mail us a cheque. |

Is Apartments Canada free to search? Yes. Apartments Canada is always FREE to search. We can be searched from any Internet connection at www.apartmentscanada.com Where can I find the newest listings? Select 'newest listings' on the bottom mouseover menu. These are the listings that have been placed in the last 48 hours. Begin your search by clicking on 'search for housing' on the top menu. From there select the location you wish to search in. You can refine your search extensively from there on. Yes you can. Can I print a feature sheet of a listing? Yes, you can. Once you find your desired property, click on the 'more details' button. This will give you a full description of this property. Click on 'print feature sheet' button on the tool bar at the bottom of this page for a feature sheet of this property. This feature is handy for Property Managers to use for potential renters. Can I send a listing to a friend? Yes you can. Once you find your desired property, click on the 'more details' button. This will give you a full description of this property. Click on 'send to friend' button on the tool bar at the bottom of this page. This property will be emailed to your friend. |
